Kelly walked into the Shopping Center. She loves to shop. Only problem is she doesn't know the way around this place. She was wearing hip-huggers with a bright pink top and her brown hair was pulled up into curls that shaped her face nicely. She stood there looking at the near by shops. "Oh boy this place is so big." she said with a smile.

Across the way, another East High student was having a reaction to the Sierra Vista mall that was very much the opposite of Miss Kelly Watson.
Kara sneered at the tacky tile, hideous florescent lighting, and most importantly the lack of anything resembling a high end fashion store in the entire place. "Okay, why am I here again?" she asked herself, her hand resting on her hip, as she surveyed the place again for any signs of hope. From her vantage point she could see much of the lower level of the place and not one store popped out at her as a halfway decent place to shop. "I should've just done my shopping online..." she muttered to herself.
Giving up on this floor, at last, Kara headed toward the escalators.

Kelly walked towards the escalators. She accidently bumped into someone she no idea who she was. "Sorry!" she said with a small smile. Being new to East High she didn't really know anyone. She wished she did. She didn't really want to be the person who was the loner in the school. She just knew what she wanted though. She looked at the girl. Apperantly this girl was into fashion. "You fashion huh?" she asked the girl with a smile. "My name is Kelly Watson and I'm new East High." she said with a small smile.

Kara swung around as she got jostled just before she stepped onto the escalator, about to let loose a tirad on the poor unsuspecting fool, but stopped when she got a good look at the girl. Instead she crossed her arms under her chest and looked her up and down. So, she was new to East High too? Perfect!
Kara suddenly smiled winningly at Kelly, "Well, you certainly know how to grab somebody's attention. I'll grant you that," she joked lightly, excusing being bumped into with a laugh, acting friendly toward the girl. "I'm Kara Roslin."
"Hey... do you want to go shopping together?" she asked, suddenly, as if the thought had just occured to her and not planned from the moment she'd seen the girl. After all, Kara was going to need new minions at East High when school started up in a week or two. And a new girl was perfect. No strings to whatever reigning princess they had over there to be cut. A fresh canvas for Kara to mold, if Kara read the eager young Miss Watson correctly. "What do you say?" Kara asked in her most charming mode.

Kelly laughed a bit as Kara laughed. And when she asked if she wanted to shop with her she thought since she was there and Kara was here they might as well. "Nice to meet you Kara." she said with a smile. "And sure that would be great!" she said with a smile. She didn't really know the mall very well and would like to get to know it. She loved shopping but she loved shopping with other girls who liked to shop too. This way you could get there opinion about the outfit that is about to be bought.

'Excellent...' Kara thought to herself in a tone that was highly reminiscent of one Mr. Burns, of the Simpsons, although she'd never watched the cartoon. Linking her arm with the other girl's, Kara guided her onto the escalator and headed up to the second level with her.
The stores on this level were slightly more to her taste. A jewelry store, lingerie, a shoe store, and even a trendy fashion boutique. Sighing a bit, as she saw that all the boutique had to offer were well made knock-offs of the real designer stuff she usually bought, Kara nonetheless headed toward the boutique. "Let's try here first," she said to Kelly, the words sounding like a polite suggestion even though they were already headed that way.

Kelly smiled a bit when Kara grabbed her arm and led her towards the escalator. "Okay why not." she said with a smile on her face. To her this looked like a beginning of a wonderful friendship. She wasn't sure how this friendship was gonna be like but she hoped it would be alright.

As they entered the boutique, Kara mentally ran down the check-list in her head. First, she'd buy Kelly off. It should be easy enough to convince the girl to accept her 'little presents' if she worked it right. And it wasn't as if Kara didn't have money to spare. Plus, this would ensure that she could coordinate Kelly's style into something that resembled her own, solidifying the idea subconsciously that Kelly 'belonged' with her. Nothing said clique like color coordinated outfits, after all.
In fact, a particularly fetching red wrap dress caught Kara's eye immediately. She had one in her closet almost like it, save for hers was a silk blend, while this was merely cotton and rayon so the color seemed darker. Snatching it up off the rack, Kara held it up to Kelly's body and smiled. "Oh, this is definitely your color," she told the girl.
