Troy was having a blast. No parents, no rules. Just hanging out with his friends was the best. A pool party for just the staff was awesome. Troy ran off the spring rock at Lava Springs and jumped into the pool. Under the water, he could here someone jumping in the pool with him. He figured it was Gabriella. "Wooh!" He shouted with excitement. He looked at Gabriella and hugged her. He looked at her in the eyes. "This is the best summer ever!" Troy was about to kiss her when all of a sudden more people jumped in from the rock above them. They were all having a blast. Troy couldn't help himself but to scream with the crowd. "Woo hoo!" ((Grand Opening RP and already bad ))

Kelsi was up on the Lava Springs rock playing with the band that Fulton had got together, their pianist had pulled out at the last minute and Kelsi hadn't minded being asked to fill in, because technically, it wasn't work. They all seemed to know the same songs and if Kelsi didn't know one music would be produced quicker then you could say "I don't know this."
She saw all of her friends running around and jumping in the pool and she realised how hot it was, she spoke to the lead singer and asked for a break.
"Sure as long as you come back, you're an amazing player." He said
"Thanks" smiled Kelsi, turning red, "I'll be back later." she said and ran and jumped in the pool, she swam around for a bit feeling the water cool her skin, but then swam over to the side and went and sat on a sun lounger to dry off a bit before returning to the band.

After their little song number, as Troy and Gabriella jumped into the pool, it took about 5 seconds before Gabriella resurfaced, giggling as she slightly shook the water out of her system.
"This is the best summer ever!" Troy told her, as he leaned in forward to kiss, when their momentum was broken by other Wildcats and Junior Staff jumped in, and splashed them both. Gabriella giggled out loud as Troy exclaimed "Woo hoo!", the excitement of their friends infectious.
"I know, and I really feel like it's only about to start", she told him as she looked into his eyes, only looking dreamier by the second as drops of water streamed down his face. She jumped right into his arms, and just a few inches apart, she gave him the impression that they were going to kiss, but as their lips were about to touch, she suddenly splashed his face with water as she laughed at her little trick.
"Bet you didn't see that coming huh?" She asked in a teasing tone and put her arms around him, laughing.

Ryan looked down at the water for a second, jumping in seemed like a semi-plausible idea, at least in the least logical of sense with how his summer was going, and hell it just seemed like a thing to do given it was so hot today, so he could really have cared less if he looked like a fool at this moment in time. He pushed his hat up higher on his head for a moment and then took in the outfit he had decided to wear, long sleeves and shorts, something about the two items mixed together seemed like an uncohesive fashion choice, and didn't seem like remotely proper pool clothes, this would be another thing he'd have to change, and soon. He shook his head lightly as the voices argued in his head about logic, and the issue of looking like he'd become one of the Wildcats.
Oh screw it.
That was the one thought that resonated in his head before he dove, and quite awkwardly at that off the rock he had been standing on moments before. When he collided with the water, all the thoughts that had been in his head prior, all the trivial ideas he had, they all just seemed to shoot out of his head as he emerged from the water again, the water soaking right through his clothes, his shoes even had the foreboding feeling of being seeped through.
"S-so...St-stupid," He sputtered out to himself as he swam to the edge of the pool and hoisted himself up on the sides, shivering lightly as he looked back into the pool, not realizing it would feel that cold. He shivered again, reaching up, surprised to find that his hat had stayed firmly on his head. "C-cold." He muttered to himself as he moved away from the pool, trying to get back into the sun where he could be warm again. He slumped down on a nearby chair and shook slightly, water droplets pinging off him as he slipped off his pool shoes and started to unbutton his shirt so that he could wring it out, his eyes flitting to the pool for a moment. Troy and Gabriella, he couldn't even look at them with resentment, rather slight confusion, how could two people go from extremes so fast, it just didn't make sense. As that thought crossed his mind, his eyes flitted up to his sister, the slight feeling of resentment towards her had faded over the past few hours, now all that was left was a slightly hollow feeling.
He could almost hear her now: "Everything changes."
Like hell it does.

Sharpay watched as everyone, and really almost everyone had really jumped into the pool, including her new Wildcat friends...and even Ryan, her brother, the only guy she knew who wouldn't let his outfit get wet like that, well...at least before this happened and before he was one of them. Now, even though she is somehow happy that he's enjoying his new life with his new friends, she felt like she doesn't know him anymore. At times she would feel like she wanted to march right up to him and demand for him to tell her where her real brother is.
Loud laughters coming from the people in the pool, more specifically from Gabriella and Troy, pulled her away from her thoughts and brought her back to the present. It seemed like she is the only one left on the rocks who haven't gotten her hair and sparkling blue dress wet, and it seemed like at that moment everyone was waiting for her to jump in and join the fun. It almost felt symbolic for her, her jumping into the pool seemed like the start of her blending in with the rest of them...letting go of her diva attitude and being like the rest of them, one who wouldn't care if their hair got ruined by too much chlorine on the pool waters.
She took another good look around the pool area, and it really felt like the staff party...since everyone is enjoying, and maybe since she isn't part of the staff, she's not. But her eyes rested to where Ryan was sitting, sopping wet and all but he looked like he didn't care. Who are you and where did you take my brother? She thought, as she let out a gentle sigh. Though there is one thing that she couldn't deny that her and Ryan have as twins, and that is telepathy...and she was only reminded about that when suddenly he looked up to her when she was thinking about him, and their eyes met again. Of course she was happy for him, she is. But it felt like something is missing, and that everything had changed for them.
Everything changes.
Curse my mouth. That was her last thought as she finally jumped into the pool.

Ryan let out a heavy sigh, watching his shadow intently as small water droplets ran off the ends of his shorts, collecting in small puddles by his bare feet. Everything about this atmosphere seemed trite, like they were in some ridiculous time loop where once again Troy and Gabriella got their happy endings, and Ryan and Sharpay, well... they happened to be even worse off this time when they lost their lead roles. Sure they had regained some dignity with the Spring Musical, but look what it had cost them now.
He grumbled slightly as he shrugged off the still sopping wet shirt he was wearing, and then following his undershirt soon after, wondering why anyone in their right mind was wearing as many layers as he was to a pool party, it was another thing about his life he would have to try and understand in due time. He looked off to the pool again, about to slump back in his chair to silently pretend to wallow while keeping on the cosmetic smile of a guy who had literally lost almost everything he'd ever had, and for what. He was taken aback by what he saw next, Sharpay jumping in the pool was a slightly surprising sight, he would have never expected that out of her, but then again he was coming to expect less and less of her as the days went on. A slight smile crossed along his face for a moment, but only for a moment, this changed nothing, just because she had jumped in a pool had meant nothing at all, all that meant was that she would be wet and most likely cold.
He shook his head lightly and averted his eyes from the pool, crossing his arms over his chest, now remembering why he liked to wear so many layers at the pool, he didn't quite feel comfortable in his painfully awkward shirtlessness, but in the same light, he couldn't help but feel this could add to his slight defiant streak, just another thing to add to the list he was making. All of things he would have to change before the end of summer, and this was just a start. However he couldn't help but feel that familiar twinge in his chest and with a slightly defeated sigh he stood from his seat and went to go looking for a towel for her knowing she'd need, his defiance could start later. She was still his sister after all, and through all that he couldn't throw that away, not even if he so badly wanted to from time to time.

When Sharpay re-emerged from the water, the first thought in her head was the uncomfortable fact that her designer dress is now totally wet, and that her perfectly curled hair was now sticking to her face and neck in a not-so-glamorous way, in a not-so-Sharpay way. After getting enough air into her lungs again, she let out a sigh. If these are the kinds of things she'd have to do to be able to fit in with the rest of them, then she probably would have to think twice again about that decision.
She looked around again, searching for that one person that she is currently focused on as she tried to ignore Troy and Gabriella's sweetness once again. And she found him in the same spot he was sitting on earlier before she jumped into the pool, it made her wonder if he saw what she did, if he was happy about that, or if he still even cared. She wiped more water off her face and eyes, trying to clear her vision. What she saw though, surprised her a little. Ryan had took off his shirt. If it was other guys it would have been no big deal considering they were in the pool area, but the Ryan she knew, her brother Ryan never took his shirt off just like that even when it gets hot like this, he knew how uncomfortable he gets when he is shirtless. A sudden splash of water from someone caused her to be aware that she has been staring at Ryan with her mouth opened, since she suddenly had to cough out the pool water.
Annoyed at the person, and at the thought of being almost caught staring like that and at her brother for goodness' sake, she swam towards the edge of the pool and hoisted herself off the water, sitting on the edge. She frowned at the feeling of her hair sticking on her neck and face, moving them away from her skin as much as possible. But while she was sitting there, a cool wind suddenly blew and left her shivering slightly. She stood up, struggling to keep her balance on her now wet and slippery heels as she went towards her pink chaise. She was somehow surprised that no one had moved it, maybe because even through what happened at the talent show, their fear of the Lava Springs Princess is still there. She sighed as she slumped down on it, still shivering.
Before this summer, whenever she feels cold she would only call Ryan and he'd be ready with her pink towel. Now, she couldn't do that. Not that she can't, of course she can...but everything just feels different between them now, it's as if they were suddenly strangers...not siblings, and not even twins, and she is badly missing that right now at that very moment.

As Ryan got futher away from the pool he couldn't help but feel a slight reprieve, ducking his head under the one of the shady canopies for a moment before grabbing a towel from the pile bright yellow that was stacked before he. He frowned slightly in the folded cloth in his hand, thinking that even his good deed would go unnoticed. He could almost hear the complaint about her pink towel forming in his head now, but at this moment frankly he didn't care what she had to say to him, it didn't matter anymore anyways.
He let out another heavy sigh as he began to weave his way back through the people wondering why even here they behaved as if they were shuffling cattle waiting for some type of excitement that never seemed to come. He took cautious steps in his bare feet, trying not to stumble anything and everything that got in his way as he moved to where Sharpay had come to rest on her chaise.
Looking her over lightly, his gaze fixed on her with a slight grin, he couldn't help but be amused that she looked a little bit like a drowned cat, and as he neared closer to her he inwardly prayed that her termperment would at least be better than that. They both seemed so out of place at this party, that now he could say it was bordering on a remote humor. He slowly weaved around another group of people before shielding his eyes from the sun and looking down at her, a blank expression on his face as he opened his mouth to speak to her. "I thought you might need this," He muttered out, feeling slightly stupid that he had let himself get relinquised back to being her poodle even by his own accord. "I coudn't find your pink one, so this will have to do," slight disdain passing through his voice as he handed the towel off to her. His eyes flitted lightly to the chaise beside her, knowing that had it been different he'd have slumped down beside her and they would sit in the corner and privately heckle people at the party over the most trivial of things. His gazed moved back to her slightly and he just furrowed his brow lightly in thought. "I think I'm going to head out..." He spoke softly into a nod before slowly turning back around and moving through the crowd of people again, stopping by to grab his discarded shirts before moving back towards the building, just trying to get away from how messed up everything seemed now.
The only thought that was resonating in his head now was that he could leave the party soon, he was literally mere feet from achieving his simple goal. He moved cautiosly around the pool edge, hoping that he could just make a smooth exit, because the last thing he needed to do was deal with people. He let out a sigh and placed a hand on the cold, metal handle knowing that once he entered through here it would like there could be no turning back.

Sharpay looked up, surprised to hear that voice, and even more surprised to see Ryan with a towel ready for her. The last thing she expected was for him to do something for her again. They may have seemed okay to other people after she gave the award to him, but after that they haven't really talked like old times, like siblings, like the close twins that they were. She took the towel from him, not even minding the fact that it wasn't her special pink towel from Turkey, and said "Thanks," still with the surprised look on her face.
When she suddenly noticed her mouth hanging open again, she looked away from Ryan and cleared her throat. She noticed the yellow chaise on her right, then turned her gaze back to Ryan. It was his spot, his chaise. They had spent many summers sitting here just scheming, planning about what to do at the next musical, and Ryan would even listen to her talk about why Troy was the most perfect guy for her. He would listen to everything, even though most of the time she knew she had been talking about herself. Everything just seems to flashback to her now, as if she were dying like in those movies. And now she realized she had messed things up real bad between them, that it seemed like it would take some kind of a miracle to get things back the way they were.
Her thoughts were broken when Ryan spoke again, announcing his exit. And all she managed to say was "Oh," and a nod as she watched him leave. She wanted to talk to him, she wanted to ask what was wrong between them, she wanted to ask if she could not do anything anymore, but she just couldn't get herself to speak. Maybe because she suddenly remembered that they are still in the middle of a party, and this is really not a good setting for the two of them to talk. She wrapped the towel around her and stood up, bumping others that got in her way as she went to follow Ryan, her slippery heels slowing her down. He can't avoid her forever, and she wouldn't let him. They have to talk and they are going to have to do it now whether he likes it or not, she thought, as she suddenly felt the old Sharpay resurfacing for a moment.

From her seat on the sun lounger Kelsi could see everything that was going on, she gave a little giggle as she saw Ryan jump fully clothed into the pool, that wasn't like him at all, but it was still funny to see.
She then saw Sharpay come out and the Pink Princess didn't look her usual happy, bubbly, self, she almost looked upset. This was rather odd, because if Troy was around Sharpay was normally all smiles and flirts, but today she wasn't even talking to him or trying to call him over. She seemed to be staring intently at her brother in the pool.
Ryan was ignoring his siter - another anomoly in the Evan family, Ryan did everything his sister asked him to! What was going on here? She saw Ryan leave, without even looking at his sister and watched Sharpay follow. Something was going on and she was about to investigate when the singer motioned for her to come back to the band. She sighed and went and resumed her post.

"Bet you didn't see that coming huh?" Troy had been splashed in the face by Gabriella instead of a kiss. Troy wiped the water of his face and cleared his eyes. "I am so gonna get you for that. You know that right? You are gonna get it! You just wait!" Troy dove after Gabriella. Together they swam under the water pass all the moving feet without getting hit. Troy smiled at Gabriella and went above the water. When Gabriella came up by him he stared into her eyes. He moved her hair behind her ears and gently kissed her on the lips. For a moment everything happened so peacefully and happily that was until more splashes came at them. He looked at Gabriella. "I'll be right back!" He shouted over the screaming of party people Troy climbed out of the pool. He walked over to a dry spot and took off his shirt and pulled down his jeans to where all he had on was swim trunks *sweatdrop* Troy walked around until he found Ryan drying off over at the pool side. Troy walked over to Ryan suddenly. Troy tapped Ryan's shoulder. "Hey what's up Ryan? Leaving the party already? It just started." Troy was smiling but trying to keep the sun in his eyes. "We could really use you and Sharpay in the pool with us." Troy turned around and saw Gabriella talking to someone. He spotted Sharpay on the other side. He tried to signal Gabriella to talk to Sharpay. Hopefully she caught him. ((^^^ Giggidy! I love rping))

Ryan cringed lightly when he felt a tap on his shoulder, his muscles tensing up slightly as he let go of the door handle turned around to face the boisterous face of Troy Bolton, his voice just dripping with boyish charm. He forced a feigned smile of earnest disappointment as he opened his mouth to speak to the slightly clueless jock before him. "Wish I could Troy," He said slowly, nodding as if he really meant every word he'd said, knowing that his acting skills were something he could use against almost anyone when he needed to. "But I'm thinking I'm going to head out man," He continued, clearing his throat lightly and looking down at his feet, slowly trying to play up the act of a feigned summer illness. "I think all this fun in the sun has given me some type of heat stroke, or heat exhaustion, or something." He continued as he spun crafted lie after crafted lie, a talent that he'd come to find both of the Evans twins had.
Ryan let his eyes flick over to Sharpay's chaise for a moment, noting it was empty now, letting the realization wash over him that she seemed to care less and less about him. He hoped that over time the sting that he felt in his chest would go away, but for now the only thought on his mind was how his own twin, the person he considered his best friend would just throw away everything they had for the boy standing before him. With a resigned sigh he returned his gaze back to Troy once more, wondering if he even knew the damage that he'd inadvertantly caused by agreeing to sing with Sharpay. "I'll check you later Troy." He said as a finality to their brief conversation, his smile bordering on an almost genuine emotion, Troy seemed like a good enough guy, he just couldn't help but be jaded by the whole situation that had become his life.
He let out another sigh, and without another word to anyone resumed his grasp on the handle, giving a firm tug before moving quickly into the cool, dark, air-conditioned shelter from which he could finally escape from the party and leave the whole scene behind and just get away from it all. The soft thud of the door closing behind him announced his freedom, his hands running through his hair through his hair as he breathed a sigh of relief. He took a quick survey of the room, noting the overbearing emptiness as he moved briskly to the staircases, needing to get away from the enormity of everything in his life at the moment.

"Stupid...heels...slowing...me...down..." Sharpay muttered each word with each little step she took towards the building. She was now regretting the fact that she has jumped into the pool with her silver heels on, well actually she was just regretting the fact that she has jumped into the pool, period. It did nothing to her but to ruin her make-up, her hair, and her outfit. What she had expected didn't happen anyway. She was thinking of Ryan smiling proudly at her, or at least laughing at her like he usually does just to annoy her, just being the little brother. But neither of the two happened, it was as if he was treating her like he doesn't know her at all.
At that thought, she wanted to walk faster, to be able to reach him faster so she can yell at him already but her stupid heels wouldn't let her get any faster. When she had finally neared the building, she heard his voice and Troy's, so she hid behind the nearby shrub so she wouldn't interrupt. As she listened to them talk, she could somehow feel the slight pain in his words as he talked to Troy. She didn't know if it was just her, or if that's part of being twins since she could somehow feel a slight pang in her chest as well.
When she heard Ryan entered the door, she waited for a few more seconds before she got out of her hiding place, and pasted a smile on her face as she walked towards Troy. "Hi Troy," she greeted, with still a slight hint of flirtatiousness, it's all part of the act. "I'm just going to change, I'm really not comfortable staying wet like this." She giggled, as she waved at her old crush. "I'll see you later," she winked at him before entering the door and closing it immediately behind her. Now that the act is over, it's time to deal with Ryan, she thought as she stomped towards the stairs and up to their suite.

Troy stood and watched as Ryan walked off from the poolside. Troy looked around and was immediately caught by Sharpay Evans. "Oh, hi Sharpay." He said slightly. She seemed under the weather almost. After she told him she was going to go change he just nodded. "I'll see you too!" Troy walked away and ran to jump into the pool splashing people. "Hey guys!"

Elizabeth was told by her Aunt and Uncle Bolton that Troy was at Lava Springs and that they would take her there. They were thrilled to see her again and she was excited to see them too. Elizabeth was wearing a pair of short shorts and a halter top. She had sunglasses on her head as well. They drove her to the country club and she got out and thanked them. She asked for directions to where everyone was and they sent her to the pool.
Elizabeth walked into the pool area and noticed everyone. She was shocked at how many people could fit in a club pool. She didn't expect to see that many people there. Her long hair was blowing in the wind. She wished that she had tied it up this morning but she forgot to. She looked around looking for her cousin, Troy. She spotted him in the pool. She wondered how long it would take for him to recognize her. She walked towards the pool watching many heads turn towards her.
